Medellín is a coffee town that has, for decades, sent its best beans abroad. That's changing — and El Poblado is where you'll taste the shift first. These are the six spots worth walking into before 10am.
1. Pergamino
The reference. Direct-trade, third-wave, packed by 8:30. Sit at the bar and ask for the filter of the day.
2. Al Alma
Quieter. Beans from Caldas. The baristas will talk you through origin without condescension.
3. Hija Mía
Small. Bright. Banana bread worth the detour.
